A.B. Biagi Gelato & Coffee is an adorable little shop on Elizabeth Street in Soho. The sun yellow front of the store invites you right into a warm environment full of weekly changing flavors of gelato and sorbet. Antonio, the owner, was raised in an Italian family, but resided in Brazil. He loved gelato and everything it entailed and went on to study this creamy frozen art all over Italy. He kept his passion alive while practicing what he had learned at home with his own gelato maker. Antonio adapted his gelato recipes to Brazils tropical weather using local fruits and lower fat milk to create a lighter frozen dessert that could withstand the heat.To read the full review, head to the blog! manhattanwithatwist.com
